We’re more than teachers; we’re facilitators, activists, and community architects building a new model for conscious communication.
Oddly was born from a powerful, urgent idea: language learning should be a force for social good. We are a queer-led, feminist team of educators, technologists, and dreamers united by a commitment to justice, equity, and ecological sanity. We don’t just teach English; we design experiences that empower you to speak up, connect deeply, and drive meaningful change. Here, you’re not just a student—you’re a vital part of our community.
Meet the Core Team

Javi Suarez, Educator and Founder
“As an educator and the founder of Oddly, my greatest goal has always been to create a collective space where learning English is useful, inclusive, and connected to caring for the planet and people.
With experience in educational leadership, teacher training, and team development, I bring a detailed and transformative approach to language learning: one that prioritizes accessibility, sustainability, and positive social impact.
As a trans non-binary and vegan person, I am committed to integrating ethical and sustainable practices into every part of my work. My aim is for Oddly to be not just a platform for learning English, but a living, diverse, and purpose-driven community“.

Anita Dichiara, Professor and Researcher
“I am an English teacher and researcher, specializing in English for Academic and Specific Purposes. My classes are designed to address real needs: I help students and professionals communicate confidently in various contexts.
My approach combines theory with practical learning, making the language accessible, useful, and meaningful. I am passionate about teaching and researching on language education, always aiming to boost the confidence, clarity, and professional growth of those who study with me”.

Gisela Di Bella, Educator
“As an English teacher specializing in adult learners, I know that learning a language later in life comes with its own challenges. Sometimes you have to balance studying with work, family, and overcome the fear of making mistakes. That is why I create comfortable and supportive learning spaces, where each person can progress at their own pace, without pressure.
Beyond language, I believe in the power of education to transform reality. I share Oddly’s commitment to sustainability, gender equity, and human rights. In my classes, these values are present, making the classroom an inclusive and respectful space. It is never too late to learn a language, and I am here to support that journey”.

Gimena Lagoria, Educator
“I believe excellence and growth go hand in hand. As a dedicated educator, I guide students on their academic journey and also support colleagues in their professional development.
I advocate for education without limits—inclusive and sustainable. I strive for those who learn with me to develop advanced language skills that broaden their minds and equip them to feel more confident and capable in a globalized world. Education can connect what we dream of with what we can achieve: it opens doors and creates real opportunities for a better future. That is why I foster a learning environment that stimulates critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability to change”.
